Mother Minnie Mae Clark Campbell answered the Lord's call and took His hand on Saturday, May 30, 2020, at the Pleasant View Metter Home in Metter, Georgia. She was born on July 17, 1932, to the late Lamon Clark and Alberta Shaw Clark in Lumber City, Georgia.
She attended the Lumber City School System in Lumber City, GA. She was married to the late Leroston Campbell. Later, she moved to New York to live, where she was employed at Lect Worth Village in Spring Valley, New York.
Mother Campbell loved to attend church, whether it was Worship Service, Sunday School, Bible Study, or a prayer meeting, one could count on Mother Campbell to be in attendance, displaying her love for Christ and her Savior. After her move back to Georgia, she became a faithful member and Mother of the Full Gospel Church of God, where Bishop William Hollis is the pastor. She attended the Victory Center Church of God, where Bishop Albert Wimbley is the pastor. As well as The Disciples of Christ Church, where Apostle Cortex Eady is the pastor and she served on the Mother Board.
Mother Campbell loved her family dearly and especially the grands. Her hobbies include fishing and sitting on her front porch enjoying the outdoors.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Leroston Campbell, Jr; grandson, David Harrison; two siblings: Lavonia Walker and Warnell Clark. Two sisters-in-law: Josephine Clark and Mildred Clark.
She leaves many cherished memories to her daughters: Thelma Harrison of Waycross, GA, and Alberta (Bruce) King of Hazlehurst, GA; sons: John (Marty) Campbell and Marvin (Dollmeshia) Campbell, both of Killeen, Texas. And a loving mother to Cathy Hartfield of New York. Host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Her memories will also be treasured by her siblings: Charles Clark, Robert Clark, Sammy (Ora) Clark, and Griffin (Tonia) Clark. And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
