Daisy Lee Vaughn was born on July 4, 1944, to the late Ocie Bacon Vaughn and the late Clifford Vaughn, of Baxley, Georgia. She was one for seven children, whom five preceded her in death; Erma Jean, Vera Mae, Minnie Lee, Bernadine and Curtis Vaughn. She departed her earthly home on September 20, 2019 at the Camelia Health and Rehab Center in Claxton, Georgia.
Daisy later moved to Glennville, GA, where she was employed by the fiber glass company now where the Rotary offsite building is located now. She was also employed with the Glenvue Nursing home for several years before retiring. She was a member of First African Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the Late Rev. Martin Bacon.
She later married Theodore Moore, who preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memories: One brother; Tommy Lee (Minister Retha) Douglas of Virginia. A devoted child she reared as her own, Andrea "Duck" McNeal of Glennville, GA. Two nephews and four nieces. One close cousin; Janie R. McNeal of Glennville, GA. A special friend and traveling partner Mary. T. Davis. A host of other loving family and sorrowing
friends.
