Nancy Monroe

Mrs. Nancy Monroe, 55 of Glennville passed away Wednesday at the Hospice House of Savannah, Ga after an extended illness. She is a native of Tattnall County and had lived in Florida for many years. She is survived by her husband Norman Monroe of Glennville, Ga. one daughter Shatika Mosey of Glennville, Ga. and one son Rosevelt Wright of Ft. Stewart, Ga., and six stepchildren. Three sisters Mrs. Loretta Brown of Reidsville, Ga., Mrs. Annie M. Ford and Lucille Grimes both of Glennville, Ga., Five brothers Henry L. Thomas, Leroy Thomas, and William Grimes all of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Joe Louis Grimes of Utica, NY and Oscar L. Grimes of Glennville, Ga. A host of other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at the First African Baptist Church in Glennville, Ga. 11:00am. Burial ceremony will be private. No wake services. King and Son's Funeral Home of Glennville, Ga. is in charge of arrangements.
