Roman Holloway was born on March 10, 1962, to Percy and Melrose Ware Holloway in Pembroke, Georgia. He attended the Bryan County School System as a child. He developed a deep love for music, nurtured by his family. Known for his exceptional guitar playing and singing voice, Roman was a talented musician. He also worked in construction and was highly skilled as a heavy machinery operator. Roman gained his wings on Thursday, March 19, 2026.
He was preceded in death by his father, Percy and two sisters, Norma Shuman and Evon Holloway.
He leaves to cherish fond memories; his children, Brody, DeAndre and Becky; his beloved mother, Melrose Ware Holloway; siblings, Emma Scriven, Mae Agnes Singletary (Benjamin), Jerome Holloway and Leroy Holloway; an uncle, Harry Ware (Bertarie); niece, Neisha Holloway; a special cousin, Mae Lene Byrd; and a host of other cousins, relatives and friends.
