Rosemarie Mcdowell Turner

Mrs. Rosemarie Catherine Lockett McDowell, age 61, of Union, New Jersey was born October 5th, 1957 in Newark, New Jersey. She was 1 of 6 children. Rosemarie is survived by her children: daughter Shavone McDowell and son-in-law Lamar Duncan; son Christopher McDowell and daughter-in-law Rojankovaski McDowell; three grandchildren: Gabriella Ware, Martavius Wells, and Reginald Sims; three sisters: Joy Rouse, Georgia Lockett, and Tori Kruse; one brother, Robert Lockett; and all of her nieces and nephews that she loved and spoke about dearly. Robert Lockett's Children Tomiko Lockett & RobertLockett Jr, Joy Rouse's Children Taheerah Allen and Cardell Rouse and Nateerah Rouse Georgia Lockett's Children Ria Freeman and Patrice Bajnath and Martin Freeman Tori Kruse's Children Kenny Kruse and Alexa Kruse Rosemarie retired from Wheeler County Correctional Facility. She enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. Rosemarie was a strong fighter. She brought joy and happiness into any room she walked into. There was never a dull moment as she always had everyone laughing and smiling. She was a trustworthy person and was easy to talk to. Rosemarie always lended a hand to anyone in need and never hesitated to take care of others. Her hugs and kisses were always so warm as you could always feel the love that she gave. She could never be replaced as her selfless personality was so unique. We all should have peace knowing that she is not hurting anymore, that she is safe, and is withour loved ones whom we have previously lost; her mother, Rose Lockett; her brother, David Lockett; and the love of her life, Christopher A. Mcdowell, her late husband.
