Rosetta Dukes Walker

Mrs. Rosetta Dukes Walker, 67, of Brunswick, Ga. passed away on October 16, 2008 at the Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick, Ga. She was born December 21, 1940 in Tattnall County, Georgia to the late Daniel Dukes and Edna (Teasdell) Dukes. She leaves her loving memories to her husband Willie James Walker, Sr. of Brunswick, Georgia; Two daughters Phyllis (Victor, Sr.) King of Brunswick, Georgia and DeVora (Jackie) Davis of Brunswick, Georgia. Four sisters: Mrs. Rosa L. Alston of Glennville, Georgia, Queen V. Williams and Ollie Mae Lawrence both of Brunswick, Georgia and Margie Starkes of Raleigh, North Carolina. Two brothers: Daniel Dukes (Thelma) of Fayetteville, North Carolina and Lonnie Dukes of Glennville, Georgia. Five grandchildren: DeToya N. Davis of Brunswick, Georgia, LaKya (Lartareo) Shaw of Oceanside, California, Jacquiscia L. Davis, Victor L. King, Jr. Kierra R. King all of Brunswick, Georgia. Two great grands: Jacquillyone A. Davis of Brunswick, Gerogia and KySean L.L. Shaw of Oceanside, Ca., a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends (a close friend Ms. Claudia Jones), Visitation will be held Friday, October 24, 2008 at King and Son's Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:00pm at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Tyson, Ga. with burial in the Greater Zachariah Baptist Church Cemetery in Glennville. King and Son's Funeral Home of Glennville is in charge of arrangements.
