Rufus Moody, Jr.

Mr. Rufus Moody, Jr., 71, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 4, 2009 at his resident at 409 Kicklighter Street, Glennville, Ga. after an extended illness. He was born December 13, 1937 in Long County to the late Rufus L. and Sarah Moody. He survived by his wife Mrs. Lizzie Mae (Cook) Moody of Glennville, Ga., one son Rufus J. Moody (Joanie) of Harlem, NY, two daughters Caembria English (Burlon) of New Rochelle, NY, and Jacqueline Moody (Ronnie) of Lithonia, Georgia. Six grandchildren, one great grand, one sister Wynette Bradford (James) of Stugburg, NY. and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00pm on Friday, January 9, 2009 at King and Son's Funeral Home in Glennville, Ga. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, January 10, 2009 at First African Baptist Church in Glennville, Ga. King and Son's Funeral Home of Glennville, Ga. is in charge of arrangements.
