Samuel Robert Kennedy, Jr.

Samuel (Sam) Robert Kennedy Jr. transitioned peacefully from his earthly life on August 29, 2022 in Hinesville, GA at his home. He was a kindhearted easy-going man who loved his family, friends, and co-workers. Above all Sam always exemplified a generous and giving spirit.

On January 26, 1961 Sam Kennedy was born to the late Mr. Samuel Robert Kennedy Sr. and Ms. Romaine Shirley Hughes in Baltimore City, Maryland. He was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.

Sam served in the United States Army for five years. Once Sam completed his enlistment he decided to continue to reside where his service ended in Hinesville, GA. There he became a part of the ESG family working for the city of Hinesville Public Works Department for over 25 years until present.

Those left to cherish his memory his wife; Kimberly Kennedy, his children; Samuel Robert Kennedy III, Samier Kennedy, Trinitee Kennedy, Christian Murphy, his grandson; Osiris King Gonzalez Kennedy, his step children; Jazmine Allen, Aaliyah Wright, Terry Williams Jr, and JaKayla Tootle.
