Shykilia Taft

Chucky was born Shykilia Latrell Bacon on October 2, 1990, to the late Dora Marie Bacon and Tony Johnson in Statesboro, GA. She transitioned from this life on March 16, 2023.

She attended Tattnall County schools throughout her early years. She graduated in 2009 from Tattnall County High School. She was blessed with her first born in 2010. She later married Tony Taft and they shared three more boys.

She was an amazing mother, sister, cousin, niece, granddaughter, and friend. Her sons were her pride and joy. She loved family and for her loved ones to gather and enjoy each other's time while making timeless memories. She was the life of the party and always met you with that beautiful smile. She could make you smile even on your worse day. She was outspoken, yet respectful, and she loved to sing. She was an active member of her church, Deliverance Outreach Ministry of Glennville, since July 2014. If you knew Chuck then you knew she loved God and had no trouble praising him at any moment.

She was preceded in death by her mother; Dora Marie Bacon, auntie; Dequana N. Fillmore, great grandmother; Katherine Middleton.

She leaves to cherish her memories her sons; Shayon, King, Tony, Jr. and Zoir, grandmothers; Catherine Grant (Hilton) and Loretta Manor, sisters; Lakiessa Johnson, Chatonia Alexis (Dominique), Iris Lopez, and Jatorya Washington, father; Tony Johnson (Paulette), uncles; Johnathan Bacon, Travis Bacon (Leawanna), Shawn Bacon, Jazmen Bacon, Tyatrus Bacon, Skyler Bacon (Briana), aunties; Amber Smith, Ashlyn Scrona, grandfather; Jack Bacon (Laura), special friend; Niecy Overton, special father; Luther Manor and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunties, cousins and friends.
