Phillis Parker, a cherished family member, received her wings on Wednesday, August 7, 2024. Born on March 1, 1964, to Lamar and Doris Williams Parker in Hazlehurst, Ga. She graduated from Appling County High School in Baxley, Ga., and worked in the Environmental services and medical records at Appling Healthcare for many years.
Phillis attended Word of Harvest Family Worship Center in Baxley, GA. She had an amazing gift for decorating, painting, and making old things look new. She always had an encouraging word for those she met. She enjoyed putting a smile on others' faces and, most of all, spending time with her family. Phyllis Parker's love and generosity will continue to inspire all who knew her with the memories living in the hearts of those who had the honor of sharing their lives with her.
She leaves to cherish many fond memories, her loving mother, Doris Parker; Special godchild, Jamarious Pearsey, both of Baxley, Ga. Sisters and brothers: Hansel (Merion) Williams of Baxley, Ga; Cynthia (Eddie) Perrymon of Douglasville, Ga; Peggy (Terry) Wooten), and Marvin Parker, both of Baxley, Ga; Dorothy (DeWayne) Bradley of Dallas, Ga; Elwaner Parker of Baxley, Ga; and Jamie (Gale) Parker of Beaufort, SC. Also, she leaves to cherish her memories, numerous aunts, uncles, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and caring friends.
