Terrence Ryals

December 31, 1966 — June 24, 2022

Terence Antonio Ryals was born to Willie (Tess) Harris and Hosey Ryals in Lumber City, GA on December 31, 1966. His schooling started at Lumber City Elementary School and he graduated from Telfair County High School in 1985. He attended Holly Comforter Episcopal Church in Atlanta, GA. He worked for an industrial plant in Atlanta, GA for several years. He later moved to Blue Ridge Mountain where he worked as a ground's keeper for several years. He leaves behind a truly dear and loving mother who would move mountains for him Willie (Tess) Harris. His father Hosey (Mae) Ryals who he visited quite often and loved dearly. Terence was a wonderful person, who would give you the shirt off of his back. He struggled for many years to live a righteous life, but he recently gave his life to Christ. His favorite pastime was reading his bible which he cared everywhere he would go, home improvements, and talking on the phone to his mom and sister daily. His vivacious and giving spirit will be missed by many. Even though he was taken to soon, he lived an extraordinary life surrounded by people who adored him. The simplest pleasure in life brought great joy to him. Terence entered eternal rest on Friday, June 24, 2022. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Willie (Pearl) Duncan, Hosey (Ocie) Ryals, his stepfather George S. Mosley, his aunt Cynthia (Sug) Mallard, and his mom's husband James Harris. He leaves precious memories to two sons and a daughter: Cedric (Wuga) Gibson and Gary Tobler of Lumber City, GA and Teneshia Williams of Uvalda, GA. Five grandchildren: Treasure, Heaven, Trinity, Christian, and Ameyrical. A loving sister Tekeshia (Eric) Koonce MBA and MHRM of Fayetteville, GA. Two very special and dear cousins who were like his sister and brother: Zandra (Nancy) Duncan and Zaylvia (Tank) Carmichael of Savannah, GA. A dear sister and brother Dr. Keena Ryals-Jenkins (Sean) and LaCory Ryals Sr. of Fayetteville, GA. A dear sister and brother Jacinda (Cindy) Harris of Stone Mountain, GA and James (Dakeysha) Harris Jr. of Flint Michigan.
