Thelma Lane was born on March 5, 1938, to the late Ellen Frasier and John Campbel who preceded her in death. She was also proceeded in death by her sister Eva Pearl Tillman. Thelma was educated in Tattnall Co School system where she graduated.

She dedicated her life to the Lord in her early twenties. She was joined in Holy matrimony to the late Wille Joe Lane who preceded her in death. She was faithful to God and had the love of ministry. Mrs. Thelma begin teaching Sunday school and bible study which made an impact in her community and touched the lives of those she encountered. Thelma loved praying, she held prayer meetings in her home. She also had a love for ministering to the younger generation. Thelma was employed by Telamon Corp for many years. There, she worked as a bus attendant and teacher assistant until she retired. She loved and encouraged her co-workers. After moving to Hinesville, GA, Mrs. Thelma lovingly served at the Beyond the Walls clothing ministry under the leadership of Bishop M. L. Jackson at Mt. Zion MBC until her health started to decline.

She loved being able to help others as well as being able to share the love of Jesus Christ. Mrs. Thelma is one of the founders to establish the Center of Life Church God in 1993. She loved the street meetings and tent revivals the church led in Glennville.

Later in life, she became a member of Immanuel Christian Center of Hinesville Ga. The church gave her the honorary title, Mother but Mrs. Thelma said, “Don't call me Mother”.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory: One daughter, Yvette Brennon (Julius) of Hinesville GA. 6 Grandchildren who lovingly called her Mema; Dana L. Lane of Ohio, Dmitri D. Lane of Tucson Arizona, Julisia Brennon of Athens Ga, Julius D Brennon I of Hinesville Ga, Julius Brennon II (JJ) Brunswick Ga, Kayla Brennon of Brunswick Ga, a goddaughter, Vatonia Thomas, Glennville, GA, one god-granddaughter, Amanda Thomas. Great grands, DaeSean L Sanders, Ahria W, Ahse’ W, Ahlah W. Ahyeri W. Silas & Ariana Brennon. Mrs. Thelma also leaves behind One sister Lillie Pearl Wingate of Trinton New Jersey, a special niece Barbra Tillman of Atlanta GA. She’s survived by 3 Brother-in-laws. Tony Lane (Yvonne), Jeffery Lane of Jacksonville Fla and Roger Lane (Mary) of Olando Fla. One Sister-in-law Mary Goggins also of Jacksonville Fla. As well as a host of nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews, friends church members who love her very much. She also leaves to cherish the memories, the love, the sisterhood, and the friendship, special people in her life, Marilyn King, Andrea McNeal,

Pastor Dr. Reba King- Feliciano, Mother Patty Gilchrist, Mother/Aunt Novella King and Laura Johnson.
