Timothy Gerald Wooten

Timothy Gerald Wooten known to many as "Befat" was born on April 22, 1978. He entered into rest on January 9, 2022. Timothy enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and special step grandson Ahsontay Abercrombie, Jr. Some of his favorite pastimes were fishing, eating little Debbie Snack cakes, spending time with his nieces, nephews, and cousins/friends. Timothy was a simple person who touched the lives of many people. He attended Appling County Schools where he developed his love for tinkering with electronics and cooking. Timothy was preceded in death by his parents Elias Dotson and Jannie Lee Reynolds and his brothers Rodney Demetrus Wooten and Bobby Dewayne Wooten. Timothy is survived by his fiancé Angel Crenshaw. Two siblings; Sisters: Brenda (Chorice) Harris and Sherry Green, both of Baxley GA.; Six nieces, LaShalla Wooten(Tyshun) and Sheniquel Graham(Devan), Erica McKenzie (DJ, Sr.) all of Baxley, GA.; Kiara Weatherspoon and Taisha Wooten both of Valdosta, GA. and Nykia Wooten of Hazlehurst, GA,; Three nephews: Derek Benjamin of Columbia, SC, Jeremy Green of Baxley, and Nyjah Wooten of Cleawater, Fl. Six great nephews Tristian Wooten, Danthony (DJ, Jr.) and Demery Jordan, Zion Lee all of Baxley, and Kaden and Braden of Valdosta, GA. Six great-nieces, MaKayla, Tiana, and Andrea Wooten, Aaliyerah Rankin, Lauryn Spearmon, Nylah Lee all of Baxley, GA and Heavenly Weatherspoon of Valdosta, GA. and three very special friends Shawn Reddish, Dennis Green and Michael Austin, Jr. and his step son Ahsontay Abercrombie Sr. (Lakahla) and his adopted mom, Gale Abercrombie. He will also be missed by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
