The Life of Velvet Green
A Time To Be Born:
On October 5, 1965, in Glennville, Georgia a bouncing baby girl named Velvet Green was gifted to the lives of Eyudella Denise Hall and Frank Sheppard.
A Time To Live:
Velvet received her education through the Tattnall County Public School system. She spent many years in Glennville, Georgia where she met many people and touched many lives. She later relocated to Atlanta, Georgia until her final days.
Velvet loved to go fishing, playing cards, cooking and most of all spending time with her family. Our dearly beloved Velvet will always be remembered for her great sense of humor, her robust laughter, the radiance she illuminated was indicative of the happiness she felt when making others laugh. Kind, free hearted, generous & loving that was Velvet. She was honorable, her word was her bond.
On November 24, 2020, God saw that she had fought a good fight, she had finished her course and she surely kept the faith. He gently whispered, "well done daughter, it's time you take your rest". God gently closed her eyes and removed her from this earthly tabernacle and placed her in his beautiful rose garden.
