SSG Willie "Earl" Warren

SSG Willie "Earl" Warren was born in Blakely, GA on August 28, 1961 to Mrs. Malene (McCoy)Alexander and the late Mr. Henry C Warren Sr. He was reared at a young age by the late Mr. Henry "Sonny" Alexander.

Earl attended Early County Schools and graduated from Early County High School in 1982. He later joined the United States Army where he served 23 years to include several tours to Germany, Kentucky, and Georgia. He was also a Federal Technician at MATES on Ft. Stewart, GA. After several years of retirement Earl began working for the Chatham County Sheriff's Department in August 2007 until his untimely demise.

Earl departed this life on the evening of May 3, 2023. He was preceded in death by stepfather Henry "Sonny" Alexander, Father Henry C Warren Sr., baby brother Mr. George "Boo" Alexander, grand-daughter Precious Johnson, and nephew Bryan Brown.

Earl was united in Holy Matrimony to Gwitha Mobley on May 3, 1987.

He leaves to cherish his memories a devoted wife of 37 years Gwitha Warren, son Myron Warren, daughter LaDeccia Hicks; grand-daughter Myla Hicks of Hinesville, GA; mother Mrs. Malene Alexander, Blakely, GA; siblings Shelly Graham(Verdell) of Chesapeake, VA; Henry C. Warren Jr.(Clara) of Atlanta, GA; Joyce Warren of Blakely, GA; Beverly George(Robert) of Blakely, GA; Anthony Alexander(Marrian) of Blakely, GA; Charlie Alexander of Blakely, GA; Tonya Alexander(Bobby) of Blakey, GA; Barbara Wilson(Willie) of Cuthbert, GA; Alisa Morrison of North Carolina Debra Davis(Bryce) of Hollywood, FL and Samuel Johnson of Peoria, IL. and a host of other neices, nephews, aunts uncles other relatives and friends.
